WK 6: Our Solar energy training program was self-paced and online based.
Students embarked on a comprehensive journey into the fundamentals of solar technology through a series of engaging modules. They began with SOL 300:
Intro to Utility Solar, where they explored the significance of utility-scale solar energy, discussing its benefits and challenges in the energy market. This was followed by SOL 101: Solar Basics, which introduced essential concepts such as solar radiation and photovoltaic (PV) technology, reinforced through daily quizzes. Then students moved into SOL 102: Foundations of PV, where they learned how solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, utilizing VR simulations to visualize system components. Practical skills were developed in SOL 202: Array Assembly, where hands-on activities allowed students to assemble solar arrays, complemented by daily assessments. Safety was a priority in ELEC 103: Electrical Safety, where students learned about electrical hazards and safe practices, followed by SOL 203: Solar Electrical Installation, which covered the installation process for solar systems. Daily check-ins throughout the week ensured that students grasped the technical knowledge and skills necessary for working in the solar industry.
WK 7: Focused on advanced topics and practical applications in solar energy.
SOL 204: Mechanical Commissioning, SOL 205: Electrical Commissioning, SOL
250: Solar System Troubleshooting and Solar Sales Professional Level 1, are all immersive and knowledgeable training modules Overall, the second week provided students with a well-rounded skill set, preparing them for various roles in the solar industry while ensuring they were actively engaged through daily evaluations and practical experiences.

WEEKS 4-5 RECAP
WK 4: During the Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) course, we embarked on an engaging journey through five core chapters of eight, exploring fundamental concepts that are crucial for aspiring construction managers. Our sessions included in-depth discussions, interactive reviews and targeted quizzes with check on learning, all designed to reinforce the material and enhance understanding. These activities not only fostered a collaborative learning environment but also aimed to build confidence as students prepare for the credential examination scheduled for next week. With a strong foundation laid, students are well-equipped to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, setting the stage for their future success in the field of construction management.
WK 5: We completed the last three chapters of the textbook, focusing on technology and personal and professional development in CMIT. Following this, we transitioned into exam reviews to prepare for the credential examination. Students engaged in practice exams, with some feeling confident while others recognized the need for additional study time.
Ultimately, 50% of students passed on the first day, and an additional 20% passed on retest day. Those who earned the CMIT Credential were thrilled about their future in the construction industry. Overall, it was a successful conclusion to the program.
