Learn about Solar Electric Design and Installation and provide a gateway to a career in the solar industry. Start with the fundamentals, and a solid understanding of various components, system architectures, and applications for PV systems.  Other topics include site analysis, system sizing, array configuration, and performance estimation; electrical design. Interpret diagrams of systems to understand component interaction and power flow. Define the two types of electrical current (AC and DC) and explain their differences. Recognize how temperature and irradiance affect voltage and current.

The Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT®) stackable credentials focus on the fundamentals of construction management practice and offer a pathway to learn how to become a competent and successful Construction Manager (CM). This training will provide practical experience and mentorship to aspiring construction professionals. It consists of four levels, and typically involves a combination of on-the-job training, formal education, and professional development activities. Our CMIT training will assist our participants in becoming professional Construction Managers.

Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) provides 30 hours of training to the mid-level employees and supervisors touching on prevention, avoidance, safety and health hazards in the workplace. It also enriches the employees’ knowledge on their rights, employer responsibilities and procedures.

During this phase participants will train in HVAC fundamentals, giving them an edge for entry-level roles in energy-efficient HVAC careers. EPA 608 is an industry recognized credential required by federal law for most HVAC technicians and highly desired by employers.

This instruction will prepare participants for a career in Solar Sales, Solar Repair or Solar Installer and Technician capable of performing Solar Maintenance and Diagnostics. This career track is designed for those who are starting their Solar careers or need a refresher on some of the basics. The training will describe the background and history of the solar industry and includes extensive 3D/VR simulations. ETA has found a significant benefit of using 3D/VR for Skills Training. Increased engagement, accessibility, and retention are all documented benefits of simulation-based training. The AWS platform provides over two hundred fully featured services from data centers worldwide and is the world's most comprehensive cloud platform. AWS is an online platform that provides scalable and cost-effective cloud computing solutions. AWS is a broadly adopted cloud platform that offers several on-demand operations like compute power, database storage, content delivery, etc., to help corporations scale and grow.
